IllinoisFlat Fee MLS

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about listing an Illinois home on the MLS for a flat fee.

What is a flat fee MLS listing?

A flat fee MLS listing places your property on the MLS — the shared database real estate agents use to find homes for their buyers — for a set fee rather than a traditional percentage-based listing arrangement.

Who is this service for?

Illinois homeowners who want their property in front of MLS buyers while managing the sale themselves.

Do I stay in control of my sale?

The flat fee approach is built around seller control: you set the asking price, you coordinate showings, and you decide which offer to accept.

What does each package include?

Standard ($149) includes a 6-month MLS listing with up to 25 photos. Premium ($188) includes a 12-month MLS listing with up to 50 photos and Open House Alerts. Full details are on our Pricing page.

Are there closing or percentage fees?

No. You pay one flat package fee up front. This service does not charge closing, transaction, settlement, success or percentage fees.

Which parts of Illinois do you cover?

Listings are placed on Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) for Chicagoland, northern, central and southern Illinois and the Illinois Quad Cities, and MARIS for the Metro East. In RMLS Alliance areas, listings are entered in MRED, which maintains a data-sharing partnership with RMLS Alliance. Our Illinois Coverage page lists our location guides.
